SWEDISH MASSAGE is gentle and rhythmic with various strokes, kneading and friction techniques to relax soft tissues, break up adhesions, release muscle tension, promote relaxation while facilitating healing. 

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE focuses on fascia and connective tissue, aiming at knots and adhesions to break down scar tissue. In- tense and specific technique allows built up toxins to be release and chronic muscle inflammation to relax. 

PRENATAL MASSAGE or PREGNANCY MASSAGE is specifically designed to assist in reducing stress in weight-bearing joints & musculoskeletal structures during gestation. It enhances blood and lymph circulations, reduces edema in wrists and feet, increase cellular respiration and relaxes muscle cramps and spasms for labor & delivery.

HYDROTHERMAL THERAPY is a use of hot moist towels, applied to produce general relaxation, reduce muscle spasm and pain, soothe irritated nerve endings and increase tissue circulation. The use of heat in physiological conditions such as arthritis is known to decrease joint stiffness, increase metabolism and tissue elasticity. 

HOT STONE THERAPY involves water heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of comfort and warmth. The muscles, expand blood vessels, which push blood and waste through the nervous system giving the body a sedative effect. 

AROMATHERAPY is an ancient practice of using high concentrated essential oils, extracted from herbs and flowers that contain vitamins, antibiotics and antiseptics, used to heal by stimulating the olfactory senses, mental responses, circulatory and respiratory functions. Applied to the skin during a massage or through inhalation, the oil or combination of oils can be used for medicinal, meditative, restorative, or relaxation purpose. We use Young Living essential oils with Grapeseed oil carrier only. Benefits of essential oils include: 

Lavender-calms nerves, insomnia, tension & migraine headaches, emotional stress, edema, anxiety & depression, sore & tense muscles.

Eucalyptus–increases respiratory, skin and immune functions by cooling, stimulating & penetrating, ailing in inflammation spasm, sinus & bronchial congestion.

Peppermint–stimulant that benefits digestion, irritable bowel syndrome, drowsiness or dizziness, fatigue & malaise.

We request your arrival 15 minutes PRIOR to your scheduled appointment time. 

We require 24-hour notice to reschedule or cancel massage appointments or a $25 fee for missed appointments will be charged to your account. 

Please Note: * Prenatal massages are contraindicated in the 1st trimester. * Hot towel, Hot stone or Aromatherapy mas- sages are NOT recommended during pregnancy. * Any sensitivity or allergens to essence oil must be brought to our attention when scheduling an appointment.
